Broken on first use for piston and parts

The rod broke inside the cylinder when the recommended torque was applied for the first time. It took me a while to fish out the broken piece. Wouldn't recommend it.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Small parts

The piece looked like the end had melted.

The product did not look like the photo. Different size rods should be cut at each end. One end looks like a stick of wax that has been heated and broken. This may have been captured while packing for shipping.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than other picks

Stop getting cheaper, buy a metal one.

Broke on first use... Guess I'm back to the old "pull the line through the hole" trick until my metal line emerges. Don't skimp, buy a metal one for the first time and you'll have it forever. It's cheaper than buying this and THEN buying the metal after you break it.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Modern

Can take off easily!

Suitable for removing the chainsaw clutch, but can be easily removed! If you are trying to find the correct torque setting to install a chainsaw clutch we would recommend either buying a pair or getting a metal piston stop as there is a risk of damaging the cylinder head. I should probably remove all parts from Poulan products with a torque wrench and document them during disassembly, rather than relying on magical non-existent documentation to pop up when needed. Although some specifications…

Pros
  • One-year trial version
Cons
  • Only available in white
