🔌 Powerful Stepper Motor: STEPPERONLINE Stepper Bipolar 42X42X39Mm 4 Wires Review

Used to replace a Zaxis motor with a 2418 CNC where I needed to improve accuracy without having to rely on incremental microstepping. Had adequate torque but drew less current than the original 200 steps per revolution motor. It was great to program the GRBL to 1600 steps/mm (physically 200) :)

I bought this for my Prusa mk3 to cure VFA but it didn't fix the problem so I replaced the PCB with SKR v2.0 mini. This stepper motor is still very noisy when holding or moving, I replaced this motor with LDO-42STH40-1684MAC aka LDO-42STH38-1684MAC printed solid state and it runs very quietly, smoothly and accurately even with no hidden hidden mode .

Great 0.9 degree stepper but cables too short. I have a small form factor 3D printer 165 x 165 x 150 mm and the cable length was too short. I had to add a connection so the cable could reach the circuit board which could be part of the stepper motor design since the cable is integrated. Considering the price, I was expecting a longer cable length that would allow for a full print cycle on all 3D printers.
