Imperial is the best blade.

While I find that most of these oscillating tool blades fail with repeated use, I find the Imperial grades to be the best and last the longest.

Still doesn't hold well on nails

The idea was to cut wood soaked with nails. They quickly lose their teeth as soon as they hit a nail. In general nonsense about titanium plating, probably gold color :(

Pros
  • Durable finish

Blade Quality Blades

I have used these blades on my DeWalt XR and they are really strong blades. They carved some original 2x4s with thick penny nails. I hit a piece of plaster and it immediately ripped her teeth off. Thank God I have 3 packs.

  • Excellent Construction

Great blades at a great price

Renovating a 100 year old house and reusing wood. These blades cut through nails, drywall and really hard aged wood and retained their strength and sharpness for quite a while. I have tried many blades and this is the best for any price. It's even better that they're affordable! Highly recommended

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Expensive

Will not fit Dewalt Tool Well

As someone else wrote these blades will NOT work very well with DeWalt corded or cordless tools. The holes don't slide all the way down to hold tight. Anyway, I won't be buying these again. I have an old FEIN tool but I haven't tested these blades on it yet. Do not buy if you have a DeWalt tool.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Broke within minutes

Used on wood with nails and broke in half within minutes of use. Apparently the two-piece construction is to blame, which tore right at the seam. The blade hasn't had enough wear to become dull. My other blades were solidly built and worked until the teeth were gone. I won't go back to it because of the wood with the nails, just because of the wood.

Pros
  • Decent job
Cons
  • Minor problems

Half of the blades lost in transit. The product is worthy.

I just ordered two of these packs, the shipping envelope was torn and I only received one pack. So really not worth the money. If I have two packs then it's worth the money. I take them all the time because they're the only ones that last long enough. I use them to cut under floor doors and use them every day.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Functionality

Don't waste your money

Claimed to be able to cut wood with nails. I started cutting 2X4's and hit the nail to within 1/4 inch. I understand that such blades tend to dull, but the nail wears down the teeth instantly. I couldn't make a single cut. It was a waste of money. I took these off and replaced them with a Dremel brand blade, after which I was able to finish this hairpin and cut through five more. Don't buy these you will be disappointed.

Pros
  • Elegant design

You work for Dewalt - I'm using Dewalt right now.

The biggest selling point of these blades is definitely their price...which is way cheaper than anything your local hardware store can offer. Sound. Contrary to some other reviews, these blades actually last significantly longer than regular blades. Over the years of using a multi tool I have seen a wide variety of blades. They are as good as anything you can find there. Will they go through hundreds of nails? No of course not! This tool is not intended for such use. On the other hand, the…
