What I liked was the fast delivery and the good price for 2 fans. I use one of these fans to cool a 13.8 DC power supply. The original fan was incredibly loud. One of the fans died within minutes of use so I installed a second one and it's still spinning happily. This fan is almost silent when not installed, but when I mount it on the PSU it gets a lot louder; I think the air going through the vents creates some sort of resonance that creates the sound. I used these fans to replace/upgrade what my grand design used for the fridge fan. By default, only 1 fan is used on the lower inspection flap that rises above the heating pipes. It's a smaller fan and runs all the time on warm days and the fridge can't keep up with it and doesn't keep the temperature below 40 degrees. I replaced the bottom, upward-facing fan with one of these and connected the other to the top of the freezer access panel to help blow hot air out of the space behind the fridge.
