Great product.: Spares

I installed these on my 2006 LJ today so I don't have any long term results yet. The fit was perfect and now I can just lift the glass and it goes all the way up and stays in place unlike my old pillars.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • No Automatic

Perfect fit, easy assembly, the rear window no longer rattles.

I installed them on a 2004 Jeep Wrangler. They install in minutes with a flathead screwdriver. Much stiffer than my worn elevators. No more banging your head on the edge of a window as it comes down due to weak jacks. I was also able to retighten the rear window mounting bolts. No more rumble and noise when driving on bumpy dirt roads.

Pros
  • good stuff

Fast, easy and good.

These lift struts appear to be well made and work exactly like the original struts when I bought a new Jeep six years ago. Immediately after ordering, I received an email from the president of the company with a link to the installation video and a request to call him directly if I had any problems with the racks. That's great service! When the racks arrived, two in a shipping tube, they were quick and easy to set up. I'm happy.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Nothing here

Very easy to fit

These gas struts are slightly stronger than the factory ones that came with my Jeep Wrangler. So you have to try a little when you close the rear window. But I can live with that and I'm so glad that the rear window no longer closes and hits my head when unloading. Installation was a lot easier than I expected. It was so easy that I've installed and removed a few times and wondered if both old racks were worn out or just one. The Revain's price was about half what I had seen at my local auto…

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • Only available in black

IT WAS A VERY GOOD DAY

I've owned this Jeep for two years and have put up with worn rear window stays while trying to fix and update everything else. After a few head hits from a falling rear window, I ordered STRONG GRIPS. They are very strong and will do any part of the job they were made to do. If I had known how much improvement it would bring I would have ordered it much sooner. The item arrived two days earlier than I thought using standard shipping which is always a good thing. With two racks, it took about 25

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Lightly dented

Amazing company. fits spares

I have a 2005 Jeep Wrangler with the original hard top (complete with worn shock absorbers). I ordered and shipped it to Alaska with $15 shipping for $35 shocks. When the box arrived I had no dents and had traveled a long way for $50. I contacted USPS via email when I realized I had been scammed. The next day I still didn't get a response so I tried calling USPS. I have an answering machine. Frustrated, I emailed elevator support and within 15 minutes received a response that a new set of…

I want to give five stars but I can't

Put them on a 2005 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon this afternoon. Installation of both took about 5 minutes after I found that the little metal clip just had to be pushed up and not removed. Simple, easy to do! The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the brace I put on the driver's side is significantly stronger than the passenger's (they are side independent). They are both exceptionally strong. So strong that I'm a little afraid to close the jar with just one hand, I can actually…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Has flaws
