Description of 💧 Power Steering Pump Rubber Inlet & Outlet O-Ring Seals Kit - P/S High Pressure Hose, 2 PCS - 34439FG000 / 34439AE021

【OEM O-RING】You are probably experiencing a power steering whine in cold temps < 60F, which goes away as the engine compartment gets warm. The culprit is the o-ring on the PS pump inlet pipe. The o-ring has become glazed & lost it's original elasticity so it's contracting more than spec and allowing air to enter the pump when the temps drop. The fix is simple, replace the o-ring. 【EASY TO REPLACE】Stuff some rags under the power steering pump, remove the hose on the front side of the pump (towards the bumper.) Remove the single 10mm bolt directly below the hose nipple. Give it a tug and the nipple will be separated from the pump. The old O-ring is stuck in the pump but it can be removed with a screwdriver and clean up the surface with a rag. 【SAVE YOUR MONEY】If you have a leaking power steering pump, don't just replace your pump. These o-rings are more than likely the fix!! Buy this to fix that problem instead of wasting hundreds of dollars on another pump!!. 【COMPATIBLE VEHICLES】2005-2018 Impreza WRX; 2004-2018 Impreza STI; 2009-2013 Forester XT Turbo; 2005-2009 Legacy; 2005-2009 Outback. 【PLEASE NOTE】This product is produced by Autola. We have no affiliation with or endorsement from any of the other manufacturers mentioned. Our o-ring meet or exceed the quality of OEM o-ring (based on in-house testing).

Do not buy fuel system

These have been discontinued immediately. After those o-rings failed, I ordered OEM parts and they worked right away. Comparing these two parts, I noticed that the original part is much tighter and offers a better seal.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • don't remember

Not as good as I had hoped.

Looks the same as the o-ring I took out, but now I have a power steering pump that is leaking from the new seal. This new O-ring should prevent that. Ordered OEM now.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Wrong size o-rings on Wrx 2005

Wrong size o-rings installed and removed both about 3 times hurt after installation. In the end I just went to Subaru and bought the OEM and it worked out perfectly.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some errors

Poor marking: Spare parts

If you order this; Keep in mind that none of these are clearly marked as an entrance or exit. It's up to you to know the color of each. The manufacturer can indicate this on the packaging label to avoid improper use.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • No machine

They just fit well.

.but I had to replace them along with the hose they went to my mechanic. The leak has now been fixed. Product is good, no complaints. You just need more experience to solve the power steering problem.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not sure

Worked well but note the flexibility of the o-rings

The first batch was dry and brittle but was replaced free of charge. The second worked better, but overall the orange o-ring was too thin. When tightening the screw, the spread arched. Although there are no leaks.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Leakage issue fixed

Take a 2010 Forester XT and replace the rotten black o-ring on the plastic L-shaped fitting that attaches directly to the power steering pump. Not sure if I bought the correct set but I used the red ring from this one and it fit perfectly. Power steering oil no longer leaks. although I don't know where I would use a larger black o-ring.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Nothing here

That does not work. - Spare parts

The size is far from correct. A broken O-ring in a car is much thicker. The red o-ring is too thin (translucent red), not what is pictured on their Revain link. I tried installing it anyway and my hydraulic booster started leaking worse. I'm pretty sure everyone who rated this o-ring positively is still having horsepower issues without knowing it.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Other Other

Differs in size from the original Subaru o-ring

Replaced the o-ring on my 2008 Outback power steering pump that hurt in the cold weather. The o-ring was too thin and the power steering fluid ran out of the joint before I even started the engine. I later ordered the genuine part 34439FG000 from a Subaru dealer. The thickness of the sealing rings is apparently different, and the original part eliminated the whistle immediately. Do not buy this incompatible o-ring.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Operating speed
