So far so good good for rough plumbing

I installed the pump directly on the solar panel 280w 24v 100ft head. The productivity is 16 l/min. Due to the gauge of the wire and the voltage drop, the pump works reliably at 31V, even though the open circuit voltage of the panel is 36V. When the sun is shining brightly, the pump starts automatically and stops when a cloud passes. The only question that remains is how long the pump will run. So far this is working very well.

Not totally useless, but almost.

The first thing I did was throw it in my pond to test it with a 1180w photovoltaic panel. Worked great pumping 7 gallons per minute! I then placed it in my well to pump into a construction tank about 100 feet above the well. Doesn't work, not with a single 190w panel, not with two panels, not with a 24v dc converter powered by my home batteries. So if you need to pump water at low pressure, this can come in handy. appeared partially rusty directly after a few days in the water.

Updated: 08/29/21. Works great and is available at a great price

Update 29 Aug 21: The pump motor failed after just a month of operation. Original post: I use this pump to supply water to my landscaped waterfall. as well as for irrigation sprinklers. This thing pumps a lot of water for a 24v pump. I've tried about 3 other pumps but found this one to be a gold point for both pressure and flow when pumping from a shallow well (10-15ft). Last spring one of them broke, but it really wasn't the fault of the production.

He served 4 months, then he stopped, under warranty, but there is still no word on replacement or repair.

Initially I was happy with this pump. We were able to install it in a shallow well and use the 12 volt system to water a small garden and water our chickens. Died 3 weeks ago. We contacted the retailer as it is under warranty. They made two recommendations, none worked, and have been silent ever since. They don't reply to emails asking for more information. I expected to benefit from this product for at least a year. Now my chickens are thirsty and my plants are wilting ;)

What arrived was not as advertised

This pump arrived in very rough packaging with no paperwork. The cable is about the right length, about AWG 14. The product description said it was an SS impeller, but it's not a centrifugal pump, it's a Chinese-made screw pump. I doubt the material of the sleeve covering the screw will hold up at all - it's very flimsy and cheap looking. The 1 x 3/4" male to female adapter is a crude adapter in terms of threading.
