4.5 Star Charger: Battery Chargers

Works great on 12v or 24v, easy to use and works as expected. 2 minor problems. Clip cords can be longer. You voltage, so the battery can discharge after a long time without mains connection (i.e. disconnect battery)

Misleading description!

NO 24VDC CHARGES! The description makes it clear several times that charging is carried out with both 24 and 12 V DC. When you first connect it all the LEDs will be lit, as you can see there is no 24vdc option. I can't believe they can mark something like this. Even the charger itself says 12/24VDC.

Success with rejuvenation

Instead of a new battery I thought I'd try it out first. It seems to have worked fine. I don't drive much and the batteries only seem to last a year or two. Applied the repair procedure and left it on the charger for 18 hours. The car started like the battery was new. Two days later I tried again (usually I start slow after two days) after she was standing in 35 degree weather. Started again like new! We will write another review when it starts up again, hopefully in at least a year.

I bought this after my car had to bounce around due to a dead battery. I checked my battery during the jump and again before purchasing. Both tests indicated that my battery was dead. I was hoping to use the restore/repair feature on this device and use it for maintenance as well. I connected it with thin cables. It runs. Then shut down in less than 10 seconds. I checked again to make sure everything is connected correctly. Same result. Wash off and repeat several times. It never did anything…

Great replacement for a "famous brand " for less than half the price!

I have had the NICO G3500 Smart Charger for many years and have been looking for a second one so I don't have to switch between cars during the Covid lockdown. Stumbled upon this charger and the reviews were great so I figured why not. I couldn't be happier with his work! It's half the price of NOCO, delivers twice the power, and has all the smart charging features! Basic charger that doesn't deliver

Bought this charger to revive/service a couple of batteries. The charger quickly overheated the next day and smelled like burnt plastic and was sent back. Some cons besides quality issues: The temperature sensor is next to the batteries, so if the charger gets hot the temperature reading will rise (up to 30C in my case). fall, which is about 85 F, and the charger was in the range of 68-70 F), and the charger goes into "summer" mode.
