As a result of using this product, I found that it was completely useless and incredibly dangerous to use. The brackets were poorly designed and did not securely hold the wood, causing it to slip and the entire structure to collapse. The instructions were unclear and only added to the frustration. While the idea of an outdoor elevator was intriguing, this product is not worth the risk.

Benefits: Easy to use and install. 3 out of 5 stars for material quality and workmanship. Cons: Considering the price, the material used, and the design of the mount, it makes sense that a $60 set could have 4 mounts. Especially considering I'd bet more than 70% of the people who buy this product will need 4 of these. $30 for a mount is pretty steep.

This is not for raised blinds but for a platform stand that attaches to a tree (e.g. a ladder stand). Most of the negative reviews seem to think you need 4 or that they need to be angled. they are not designed for that. I agree the price is a bit high but works great if you use it for its intended purpose.
