Worked well right out of the box, on a low threshold with a monitor connected to it. Turns off the controlled devices about 30 seconds after turning off the master. It was a little tricky to plug into the outlet the first time, but that's not uncommon. I underestimated it because it draws about 5.5 watts when plugged into an outlet with no additional ports.
