Very happy with this purchase. The display is sharp and bright even outdoors. It's easy to mount the Pi from the back. Powers Pi4 with no problems. The touch screen responds. The screen and body are solid. Got a great deal on Prime Day.

It doesn't work and the cables are a bit flimsy. Also, they said they would send a replacement cable that would activate the touchscreen, but that would take up to thirty days. The staff was friendly via email but I didn't have time as I have a tight deadline.

Nice screen, HDMI just works. They need a little stand or something. 3 months and still stopping here. Like an iPad that's an HDMI monitor with a Raspberry Pi-sized board dangling from the back.

UPDATE: SunFounder sent me a new cable! Great company, very responsive and fast! Received the device but also received a bad LVDS cable. I have purple flickering along the left side of the screen. When I play with the LVDS cable, I can do a little better and it will change from purple to white.

The reason I give 2 stars is because when I bought the item or product I didn't realize they didn't offer outdoor protection.

Although the documentation is weak, it didn't take long to launch this screen. A picture of the wiring or a link to a picture with no searches would be nice. But my biggest disappointment is that when you run it next to a standard 7-inch Raspberry Pi screen, it lacks contrast and isn't as bright. even the readable background is not visible on the 1st picture. After adjusting the contrast and brightness, the background appears, but the color is turned off and the blacks are no longer black.

The display is fine, the touchscreen works well. But I was shocked by the monitor interface board as there is no rear mount for the display. I'm buying a piece of plexiglass to make a backing for it so I don't have to worry about the risk of electrocution! Seems like the company could think this through and come up with a cheap solution......

This touchscreen is big enough to run an on-screen keyboard with a terminal window and browser. The screen is very bright. The glass is very hard, smooth and easy to clean.

For the app I'm developing it's perfect, I didn't like the hard HDMI cable connecting the Scerren and the Rasberry Pi, but it's a small issue that can be fixed.

Overall the screen works great with the Raspberry Pi. I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to turn off the screen backlight while the screen is sleeping. It could be a setting in Raspbian that causes it to glow slightly while sleeping.

There are 2 different products here, 10.1 inch IPS screen and 10.1 inch touch screen. This test focuses on the 10.1-inch touchscreen. I wanted this product to be great despite the negative reviews. He's not worth your time. I got a screen and plugged it into my Pi and there were tons of lines on the screen. It showed nothing but black and white lines of varying thickness. not worth your time.

It's difficult to find a screen larger than 7 inches that combines touch capabilities and high resolution. 10 inches and 1280x800 resolution are rare. Use the screen in your projects. However, out of the box it's intended to be used as a tablet - your Raspberry Pi or similar can be attached to the back of the screen, and the included stands ensure the screen sits flat on a table.
