This is a very cool little screen that you can use to incorporate a touchscreen into many different projects. Alternatively, you can make a very compact emergency IT troubleshooting cart. The hand in the photo implies a MUCH larger size than the actual screen. I needed a 7 inch screen so it suits me. Tested plug and play on Linux also on Windows. It's okay if it doesn't start right away, as you'll need to restart your computer for it to work properly.

The protective film on the screens is very easy to miss - I thought I had two scuffed screens until I finally noticed and now they are perfect. Unlike other/legacy devices, these screens work correctly with Raspberry Pi DPMS and sleep and wake up correctly when touched.

The touch started drifting from the start, and now it doesn't work at all. The screen still displays well, it's just that the touch feature I bought it for is no longer there. I can't explain why it doesn't work anymore.

This is reliable gear. I love the holes for the brackets in the corners. By default, the screen size is the screen size with black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. I changed the display settings to 1024x600. It's perfect for what I need, the price is ok. Update: 1 week later. The screen now has lines. Appears randomly. One star because I now have a new screen with lines. Marks on it in less than a week.

Tried this screen for the Raspberry PI project. It works well and is easy to set up/use. However, I ended up going with a different screen as it had better options for cases. The screen is good, the body parameters are less impressive.

I haven't had much use other than testing, but once I start a project that can use them, they're perfect. That's my review.
