Sunlite 25CTC 32 E14 Incandescent Review

Well. They match my Turkish chandelier. Now one of the bulbs is five times brighter than the others and is getting too hot to touch. I'm worried about the fire and afraid to start it. I bought 25 watts from BULB CENTER

I really liked its brightness. However. They don't last long. I had to change them after 2 months. When I wanted to replace the burned ones. They broke and had to use applicators to take them off. The metal around the edge melted.

Some bulbs are broken. It was not possible to request a partial refund or replace defective ones. I want to keep the rest of the lightbulbs as most of them arrived ok. If you ask anyone please contact me about it. I will update the review after the decision.

I bought this because I have a lamp I brought from Turkey that uses E14 bulbs. The wiring is rated for 300 volts, however this bulb blew up after minimal use. Thank god he was in a closed lamp and the damage was minimal. If the light bulb exploded outdoors, it would cause serious harm to people in the room. I absolutely cannot recommend this brand. I now have 8 lightbulbs that I am going to throw away as they are not safe to use.

I give these lamps 2 stars because almost 50% of them are good. I bought them for a small six light Czech chandelier. I had to go through thirteen lightbulbs to find six that worked. I tried six that didn't work on the Italian bedside lamp and they didn't work there either. They don't look like the filament is broken, so it's probably a bad manufacturing issue. Made in China but sold at US prices considering one out of two or more will not work. .

I literally only received the box an hour ago and opened it up and when I put the box on the table I heard some sort of rumble inside so I got tense. I knew it would be ugly so I opened it carefully. I shook each bulb - 5 were intact but rattled inside meaning they are completely dead. Also, 3 lightbulbs were completely smashed leaving tiny bits of broken glass everywhere including on my fingers!
