Better Deal Than Ebay

It's a little better than all ebay listings take some time to ship but it's worth it and you'll never have to buy bike patches again. Grab an 8 ounce can of Slime Rubber Glue, the cheapest online at Revain, stop messing around with those little tubes of rubber cement that dry out and no you can't use any other glue, it has to be bike tube rubber glue that Rubber fuses and bonds together by dissolving and melting the tubing a bit. Otherwise, you won't get a quick fuse patch with any other glueโ€ฆ

I'm on my way again!

My mountain bike and spikes are best friends! I'm out of 6 patch starter patch kits. Now my children will have something to inherit. The patches are beautifully packaged and individually wrapped. I also order Slime 1050 Rubber Cement - 8 oz. I repaired my first flat today (14 patches on my tube) with one of my Sunlite patches (only 99 patches left!). I found the patch easy to use, just like when I was a kid; Mark the hole (I use a bucket of water to find the hole), deflate the hose completelyโ€ฆ

I love these patches

I live in the Central Valley, California, and we have a lot of goat head patches. So I fixed 3 or more road bike inner tubes a week in the summer, intermittently the rest of the year (only about 3000-4000 miles a year). I used up my first box of 100 patches in about 3-4 years and just bought a second box. It is great. I use them with regular rubber hose repair glue from my local auto parts store (O'Reilly in my case). A 3" tube is only a few bucks and lasts me a year. This is the mostโ€ฆ

Good patches, best in the Bike Tools & Maintenance category

I ordered these because I often have a lot of flat parts and hoses get expensive after a while so instead of throwing them away I'm fixing them now . These are really good patches and they stick really well if you follow the instructions. I ordered a large tube of glue for this kit and used maybe 20 per pack. I have a technique that almost never fails me. After applying glue to the pipe, I use a match and light it. The glue is flammable and will burn, so I let it burn for about 10 seconds andโ€ฆ

Very good patches at a good price

These patches work perfectly and are very good value. They're quite large, so they're probably better suited to mountain bike or 'cross tires than narrow road tires. However, I've put one on a 25mm street tube with no problem - it helps to temporarily inflate the tube to stretch the rubber a bit just before patching. As with any patch, you will need to sand the pipe with sandpaper prior to installation. , apply the glue and wait for it to dry before attaching the patch. If you do, you shouldโ€ฆ

Lots of nice big patches for you and your friends

I bought these patches because I like having enough for me and helping others in the store or on the go. They're good quality (just about anything I've used) and you get a lot of them for little money. So you don't have to worry about those precious six or eight patches that come with a patch kit that's about to be gone. Using the usual method (with sandpaper and rubber cement) I was able to patch the tube. Remember to remove the foil and apply the patch, orange side down, completely deflatedโ€ฆ

  • Sturdy construction

  • Some troubles

Outstanding Performance - Use with Elmer's Rubber Cement

I've had a number of punctured hoses and am tired of spending $5 on a new hose each time. Eventually I had 3 flat tires in 3 weeks of commuting. The small portable patch kits aren't really enough to make as many patches as I need so I bought this large version. I used about 10 patches to take care of my backlog. I've used Elmer's wrinkle-free gum adhesive patches (about $3 at each Walm*rt) as the patch adhesive and it works well. I usually attach the patch to the tube with a standard clamp andโ€ฆ

Must Have in Goat Head Land

My neighborhood is littered with goat heads. Without a thick profile, even a Continental Gator hard shell city bike tire with Duraskin tires (700 x 28, wire beaded), which are generally considered to be almost bulletproof, is prone to frequent punctures. Replacing the tubes was getting expensive so I decided to try these patches along with Slime 1050 Rubber Cement - 8 oz. . Those two things paid off in a couple of weeks. I've only replaced one tube since purchasing these patches and that'sโ€ฆ

Just as good and half as expensive

I think Rema patches are the gold standard. I mountain bike in an area where I regularly collect spikes. So I go through a box of 100 every few years. This time I decided to try and save a few bucks and go for a cheaper brand. I was ready to be disappointed. I have already used about 10 patches. They work great. One comment I read said that patches tend to blow on the tube. This will happen with any patch if it is applied while there is air in the tube. When the tube is fully deflated the patch
