The video shows a FULL replacement on a delta drill press

Just watch my video and you will see that this switch works PERFECTLY to replace my broken switch to replace on a Delta 11-990 drill press. In truth, I'm only complaining to Delta because I installed a switch that died after only ten years of use. Switches should last a lifetime and I bet this new one will do just that. A NOTICE. Not a direct replacement, although Delta claims it is.

Delta lists this as a replacement part for the 36-979 Table Saw Paddle Switch Toggle Switch. Although electrically equivalent and in the same package size, this is not an adequate replacement. The switch fits into a hole in the front of the box, but that's where the compatibility ends. The toggle portion of the switch bears little resemblance to the original, meaning the safety paddle doesn't actuate the switch to turn it off. Update: failed after 1 year.

I bought this to replace the switch on a Hitachi F1000a planer/stripper that runs on 115VAC single phase. The planer has a thin steel electrical box with a similar looking rectangular switch and opening. The good thing about the product is that it has a schematic printed on the side and each of the pins is numbered to refer to the schematic.
