Description of 🥣 8-Piece Mixing Bowl Set with BPA-Free Lids – Superior Glass Bowls for Meal Prep, Food Storage, Cooking, and Baking – Space-Saving Nesting Design

BEAUTIFUL BOWLS - The bowls are crafted of exquisite tempered glass, granting your table a stunning effect. Crafted of magnificently translucent glass, you get the full view of what’s inside. The bowls will maintain their pristine condition, never denting or deforming. HEALTHIER OPTION - Of pure, unadulterated glass, these bowls are free of chemicals found in plastic and stainless steel. Food served will remain wholesome and unsullied. PROTECTIVE LIDS - Each bowl is equipped with an airtight lid, keeping the contents fresh and preventing flies from infesting your food. These are the only bowls whose lids are clear, so you can enjoy the sight of your dishes while keeping tracking of what’s inside. SUPERIORITY of GLASS - Glass bowls are heavier and more stable, so they won’t slip and slide while you mix. Walls are slicker, assuring your batter doesn’t stick to the sides. The bowls won’t absorb odors or flavors of food stored in it and are completely microwave safe without the lids. EASILY STORE and CLEAN - The set includes bowls of 4 qt, 2.5 qt, 1.5 qt, and 27 fl. Oz. The bowls are stackable and neatly nest inside each other. The bowls are dishwasher safe, while the lids should be washed by hand.

They break SO easily

I took these bowls out of the box and placed them on my counter and they broke immediately, glass smashed all over me and in the kitchen. So they are definitely NOT unbreakable.

  • They look beautiful
Cons
  • No instructions

Very happy with the purchase

I'm trying to switch to glass storage and avoid plastic. These bowls are sturdy, stackable, and take up less space than any plastic storage utensil I've had before. I am happy with my purchase.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good bowls in mixing bowls

The bowls seem to be well made and I mainly use them for mixing when baking. The lids are comfortable but I'm not sure how long they will last as plastic isn't that heavy. Though in my case I'm of little use to them. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

Do not buy. Best in Bakeware

I love my Pyrex glass bowls which I bought 10 years ago. I have decided to buy another set of glass bowls. My order arrived at my house a few hours ago. I washed them and put them in the dryer to dry. An hour later I pushed a bowl away and put it in the cupboard. See fig. It shattered into a thousand pieces. Don't buy this! Buy Pyrex instead.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance

NOT durable!: Mixing Bowls

I broke the biggest bowl while taking it off the shelf! (The reason I got the set was because I needed a big one) They're not as thick as Pyrex glass at all. When it broke it shattered into a million pieces and fell onto my lower shelves! I still use the others but I have to be sooo careful, I don't like using them at all. I plan to buy something else and get rid of these.

Pros
  • Great for me

The bowl broke for no apparent reason

Potato salad in a medium bowl has been in the fridge for several hours. Then I took it out, put it in a brown paper bag and put it in the car for a short ride, wrapping it in a blanket so it wouldn't bounce. When I got to my destination about 15 minutes later, I carried it inside and placed it on a wooden kitchen counter. After about 10 minutes when I removed the lid the bowl fell apart into many pieces. I was shocked to say the least! The bowl had no noticeable problems when I put lettuce in…

One exploded in the fridge

I took a bowl out of the cupboard and used it to store sliced watermelons in the fridge. The next time I open the fridge, I'm greeted with a broken bowl. The bowl was not hot, there were no sudden changes in temperature, it just decided to explode. I'm always nervous when I put something hot or cold on my plate. The other 3 have held up well so far but I wouldn't trust the stability of this product.

Pros
  • New to my collection

  • Piggy Bank Price

Fantastic purchase!

I have a set of stainless steel mixing bowls that my mother had before I was born. They are still in great shape and I love them for both practical and sentimental reasons. Thing is, I bake a lot and only have a large Pyrex mixing bowl. I find glass is better for mixing batter or bread dough because you can easily see if dry ingredients are sticking to the sides or bottom of the bowl. It's also easier to see how much the bread dough has risen. So I decided to buy a set of Pyrex bowls, including
