Short Life Best in Relay

This product failed in a short time. It was installed in June and decommissioned in July. I used it as a relay for the fuel pump. The relay turned on by itself, which is why the fuel pump worked constantly. I assume they are not fully waterproof.

Pros
  • Best in Niche
Cons
  • New Competitors

For me it's complete garbage. I bought .

For me it's complete garbage. Bought them in May, installed them in my 56th's headlight system in September. They both failed. Definitely let the water in. See image. I plan to contact them and see what they do, but I'm not sure I even want to install others of this brand.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • There are flaws

I will look elsewhere

So I had corrosion on my old wiring so I cut out all the old wiring that was bad. Almost 2 feet. 2 weeks later it got worse. The relay keeps sticking. Instead of the white corrosion that was on the old wire, all of the contacts now had this light blue crust. This relay had to be completely sealed.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great season pack!

Perfection! Inexpensive relays that work great. Put two of these side-by-side in my Yamaha Rhino to control electronic accessories when the ignition is off. It is absolutely ideal for use in the automotive industry. The usage he will experience being splashed with mud, snow, water etc will really get him through the stages. I hope it lasts, but at this price point, even if I have to replace it every few years, I'm fine with that. It's worth it!

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Repair

Good work! on Switches & Relays

I bought 2 of these for my old Jeep. Since I installed lamps with a total consumption of 200W / 18Amps, I decided to use a set of relays with fuses to be on the safe side. When I installed them I smeared the plugs with some socket grease and hooked up a 40 amp breaker on the "Power In" line on both relays for overload protection. Through random "testing" I found that these relays (I bought a 40 amp relay) can handle 40 amps continuously with no problem. I've tripped the switch a few times but…
