    Great idea for a fun meal but the top plate needs work.

    We got to know raclette in Europe and wanted our own. We love the extra hob, but you need to make sure it's perfectly in place and the temperature is just right. If the temperature gets too high, the plate will warp and the pancake batter will spill out of the molds. The grill side is good for adding sausages, mushrooms or other vegetables. When we found out it was the temperature we struggled to put the plate back up but by then we were done eating. The recipe book that came with it was good…

    Very good raclette grill!

    I've wanted to buy a raclette grill for a long time but hesitated because I didn't quite understand if the Swissmar brand was worth the extra money. Having used the raclette grill twice I'm glad I chose Swissmar. The raclette grill works great. Small pans are easy to use and clean, the handle doesn't get hot but the cheese melts well.     Very cheaply made, poor quality

    I'm French and grew up with them, use them weekly in the winter and after a day of skiing. Having lived in the US for almost 20 years, I wanted to travel across the ocean and through the back streets of memory as our travels were very limited in that fateful year. This car is TRASH!     Great raclette for 6 max

    We left our raclette in the UK and have been missing it since living here in the US so we invested in this one for Christmas (knowing we were coming back would). UK eventually but wanted to use something in the meantime). I like that it has temperature control and the top hob is easy to clean in the dishwasher. Kitchen utensils can also be washed in the dishwasher (top drawer). We use a coconut oil spray on the stovetop and it really makes a difference in the cooking process. It is designed for

    I love raclette suitable for small appliances

    It offers an incredible culinary experience. We got it as a gift 10-15 years ago and it has become one of our favorite meals with family and friends. It's definitely not fast food.
