Static City! on external sound cards

Very poorly shielded. Seems to be a quality product other than the fact that you are constantly getting radio and other interference from your phone. It sounds like hum and noise in the headphones. Not recommended.

Pros
  • So far satisfied
Cons
  • High price

Best value for money

Great sound. The different modes basically just boost the bass. However, if your headphones can handle it, they'll make them bang like crazy. Otherwise it sounds like garbage. The default no-boost mode is very clean and crisp, very flat. I like the first or second boost level. I also really appreciate the indicator lights showing frequency and ease of use.

The best DAC under $100. Take it! Pure balanced sound!

This is the best USBC cell phone DAC I've found. There is little noise, but the sound quality is excellent! At first I was concerned that it might not fit my phone in a case, but getting it to fit properly was no problem. If, like me, you want the latest tech and your trusted in-ear studio headphones, get this. You'll be hard pressed to find a better DAC for the price, or anything under $100.

  • Good stuff

Suitable for desktop use only

Sound quality and functionality are excellent, but USB-C doesn't stay in the phone and comes out with a light touch. it's pretty annoying

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Minor issues

Portable DAC/amplifier at the best price + clear and powerful bass!

Excellent DAC and headphone amp! For the money, it sounds as good as my Fiio A3 portable amp. And it even has stronger and clearer bass boosts (especially 3rd and 2nd bass intensity settings). And the Syba DAC/amp is only three times cheaper than the Fiio A3, AND it's MUCH easier to travel with πŸ™‚. Charging does not require a power adapter or charging cable as it works without an internal battery. And it only uses the battery of my original device, a OnePlus 7 Pro Android smartphone. I can't…

Surprisingly good. - Computer and accessories

I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised by this device. I have 3 DAC dongles and several Bluetooth DAC AMPS. I came across this DAC and got some good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I like that it's small and compact, a nice departure from the other dangling keys. The options are nice and there are tonal shifts when you select the EQ options and the sound is very good. It has good volume boost and you can hear bass and treble boost which is nice. I'd love to see a companion…
