📦 T.R.U. ATG-7502 Acid Free Adhesive Transfer Tape: 1/4 inch Width, 36 yards Length Review

Used tape on my ATG gun and it keeps breaking. I looked closely and noticed the tape had been cut off in several places. This is each roll in a box. I have two weeks past the return date, as I used what I had before opening the box I cannot return or exchange. Very disappointing.

I had so many problems with this tape. The ATG tape is fine, but one of the reels was wound backwards making it completely unusable. I've used 2 rolls so far and am now on the 4th as I can't use the 3rd. The first 2 reels skipped tape. I'm not sure how to adequately explain this, but if you're a frequent user of ATG, you probably know what I'm talking about. When you buy at a bargain price you expect everything to work as it should, but you get what you pay for.

Seems to work well with my Pink Scotch ATG pistol. As some other reviewers have said, the ribbon rolls are a little wobbly and not flat. Anyway, I use a liner (made from a yoghurt cap) on my scotch gun as even with the scotch spares that come with the gun the tape seems to shift after use and not stay right on the reel . This could also be user error, but Shim seems to have fixed the issue. For this price I will continue to buy this band instead of the brand name. It seems to work.

Each of these reels broke SEVERAL times. And not only that, but look at the picture, the tape isn't even ONE! Yes, it's a lot cheaper, but you'll be CONSTANTLY reloading your gun and you'll end up LOSE a lot of product. Get the original, not worth the hassle of using this. The holes in the plastic part don't line up properly with the gun either. Look at the photos of the Scotch brand, the quality is much better. DO NOT waste money on it.

So far 3 reels from this pack have proved unusable. The tape was somehow wrapped backwards or facing inwards rather than outwards as it should be. I've ordered this before and had a similar problem. However, the same problem occurred with a well-known brand. So there is no gain. Regardless of what you buy, it is more than likely that at least one reel will be defective, if not more. Never buy again. I have never left a negative review but this is a must! I bought these for my new ATG shotgun. I figured it must be my fault when the first roll started to break but I couldn't figure out why it looked like it was cut diagonally, the glue held the backing together so when you remove the glue nothing is holding the backing together. I do a lot of scrapbooking and use my ATG dispenser all the time, but I have a hard time finding Scotch ATG refills. I found these fillers and decided to give them a try. BIG MISTAKE! Each roll broke at least three times, often wrapping around the base of two dials. I had to stop, unfold the part where it shouldn't be, and then put it all back together.
