Great smell and shave

I find the lime smell to be quite subtle when shaving, but I like it. Leather is incredibly easy to make and has a lovely creamy texture. The shave was very smooth and I didn't need any effort to lather up with my boar hairbrush. I melted it in my ceramic shaving bowl in the microwave for about 15 seconds. I have many different soaps but this will most likely be my half-day user. Will definitely try another Taconic soap once I use this one.

Best soap under $30 and on par with much more expensive brands

I've had soap from expensive to Arko and Taconic EXCELLENT best soap under $30 and same much more expensive soap. At $13 this is a fantastic deal. My favorite is Urban Woods followed by Eucalyptus. The foam is creamy and smooth, the scent is strong but not overpowering. It holds water well and will last forever if left in a can and kept closed (I lather my face). Made in the USA and excellent.

I bought this soap a while ago and love it very much. The scent is strong but not overpowering, eucalyptus with a more subtle note of mint and tea tree oil. It lathers fairly well, especially when you take a little from the can, and forms a thick lather with very little effort, making for an excellent razor glide and little to no irritation. My only, very minor, complaints about this product are that it lacks menthol (it's just personal preference so I won't let that affect my review) and the…

This is a fantastic shaving soap. If you're scrolling because you don't know what you want, stop here. This is a wonderful shaving soap. It is pleasant on the skin. You can whip up any foam you want. When you first smell the puck it smells strong, but when you shave it is not overpowering. Leaves a fresh, clean scent in the bathroom air. Great all round shaving scope at a great price. Must buy.

Will never go back to shaving cream/gel

I have tried several non-aerosol shaving soaps/creams in the past without success and have always reverted to aerosol shaving gels or creams. But I think I've finally found a great shaving alternative that is definitely more eco-friendly and effective for soaping skin before shaving. Shaving soap has a pleasant smell and smoothes the skin thanks to eucalyptus oil. I get a nice thick lather when using a wet brush and I haven't had any bumps or cuts from the razor.
