Now I have a modern day Tamagotchi but as a kid I had Gen 1 and I chose Gen 2 which was only slightly different. It's exactly the same! I've seen some reviews claiming it's not the same software and that it's very 'limited', but they must have compared these Gen 1 and Gen 2 releases to the Tamagotchi Connection series because the original Tamagotchis compare were restricted to these. This is an exact copy of the original! It's great for nostalgia for those of us who were about to give birth to virtual pets. It's like they took these fancy pets and put them in prettier boxes. This one is very beautiful! I want to solve two problems mentioned in the reviews of this new version. First I read that they lack the features that the originals had.
