Works great with a little modification

Some reviews give a minus here as the lace doesn't go through the eyelets on deck shoes. All you have to do is turn the belt sander upside down, turn it on, and file the tip down until it's the same size as the shank. A piece of cake in less than 5 minutes. A file or hand grinder will also work. than 6 dollars

Get "NEEDLED " to lace up!

This lacing needle is easier to use than traditional lacing needles on larger projects. Make a clean and thin cone on the tip, screw on the needle and get to work. I use this tool for ALL my round/square eyelet lacing needs as it is much more finger friendly. I'll be stocking up on these little ones for my next set of projects. Once fixed, this needle is very easy to roll up to properly line up the lacing. It has worked well on both thick and thin 1/8" laces. Now my go-to choice for lacing…

Ideal for paracord. We refine the bracelets with this so that the ends do not melt, but we fold them. thus there is no sharp molten part to rub the hand on the underside of the bracelet. Just cut the tip of the park cord at a 45 degree angle and melt it a bit to make it nice and pointy. Then thread it through the end of the needle and you can now thread it under a few knots.
