4+ hours, bits are still as sharp as originally. I will buy again. Although it smells awfully hot. Use a hood or in a well-ventilated area.

I really like this product, the only complaint I have is that my Tap Magic for aluminum has a bad spout but no lid. So there's no way to close the bottle once I'm done with it. The rest is OK. UPDATE: I bought a $0.99 rubber stopper that fits so I can close it when not in use. Greg

I've noticed that all of my cuts that I would have made with hand tools, be it saws or threading, are now literally twice as fast thanks to this amazing fluid. Remember that this comparison is completely useless and not with other metalworking fluids. An unfortunate side effect is that he loves to remove ink from power tools.

I bought this tool thinking it would be better as its name refers to aluminum. The slightly thicker Tapmatic No. However, 1 Gold works better when cutting aluminum with hobby circular saws. Strangely, the Tapmatic is still better for cutting aluminum with circular saws.

This fluid is becoming increasingly difficult to find in my area, luckily it can still be found online at a reasonable price. I only use Tap Magic on aluminum and regular Tap Magic on regular base metals. I've found that when I use the regular TM instead of the aluminum version when working with aluminum, the work piece gets discolored and all my holes look weird because the regular TM turns the aluminum blackish.

Great for milling 80% below. Tried WD-40 and some other products but it took much longer and didn't help much. Use this especially when drilling a pilot hole for the end mill on my router and for drilling dowel holes. Put it in a small oil spray bottle so I can add a few drops at a time. The drill seems to clear chips more easily and drill deeper with less effort. Also seems to help the end mill run smoother. I would definitely buy it again.
