I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but it doesn't sound like rocket science to get it to work

it didn't work for me. I read all the other reviews and was excited when I got this sharpener but it doesn't fit me. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but getting it to work doesn't sound like rocket science. Doesn't sharpen the tip and takes forever to sharpen even a small batch with fresh batteries.

It's very good, the only problem is what you should use.

It's very good, the only problem is that you have to use high-capacity batteries, otherwise it becomes slow and you feel that it doesn't work as intended. Update: 9/12/2017: We haven't used it very much, but the batteries run out quickly as you can't stop using it unless you use new batteries that only last a few times. I'm trying to switch it from batteries to electricity. I hope it works, I hope it works

Not worth it

We needed this for our school age kids who use pencils every day. This is a quick and dirty way to do math homework, but we plan to replace it soon. If you're using a new, never-sharpened pencil, forget it. Gets tangled up quickly. The tip is never quite sharp, but our kids don't care. You will only stop two problems to sharpen the pencil again. Our biggest complaint is how rough the sharpened part is. We need to use this to get it as close as possible and then use a cheap hand sharpener to…
