Clearance for connectors

I have used Taylor's Spiro Pro cables in the past and they are of the same excellent quality. My 2001 Silverado has headers that tend to weld the plugs together. The angled boots on them give extra clearance and they are rated at 600*. I'm very happy with them, they look great.

Pros
  • Easy to read front panel
Cons
  • I will add later

Perfect for LS with headers

You will need this if you have headers on your LS. I had a standard set of spark plug leads (straight spark plug boots) on my LQ9 when I noticed a slip and 2 burned spark plug leads, even with heat socks on. They had angled spark plug boots, which are a must for most headers. I only had to put on one sock because it was closer to the main than the others. The engine ran much better when all 8 were leaked

Pros
  • Good value for money
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Scrap CHARACTER HALOM

This is a cheap HALO! They cost me a lot of money! They are very cheap and not 10mm! They are 8mm with 2mm silicone! See photos for proof of durability! Save yourself time and headaches AND YOU MUST CONTACT AMAZON FOREIGNERS TO GET THIS SIGN BACK! AMAZON WILL SHIT! IT'S NOT ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE ANY MORE! THEY WANT YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU A HARD TIME WHEN THEY WANT YOUR MONEY BACK! SMDH!

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Out of style

Good upgrade on ignition parts

I put these and a set of Iridium spark plugs on my 2002 Avalanche 5.3 with 107k miles and they fit great although Revane said they wouldn't fit. I removed the heat shields from the old wires and threw them away. The small size of the boot allows the end of the silicone plug not to touch the cylinder block. I drove about 1000 km with it. I put them on when the air conditioner dryer was taken out of the car. This greatly simplifies access to the firewall port from the passenger side.

Pros
  • Best in the niche
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Great wires at a great price

These 10mm Taylor wires are cool! They're affordable and still work great! I also have boots for added security, but I haven't had any heat or wire melt issues with these short connectors. I also like the 45 degree shoes on the connectors, you can rotate the connector on the connector and that way you can route the wire away from the pipe. Shorter wires are too short, but longer ones are ideal. I would definitely recommend these wires to a friend or family member and I will be buying them…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Boring packaging

false advertising and poor fit

don't let the name and description fool you it's 8mm wires with 2mm silicone around them which is pretty bad of them for false advertising . in addition, the stopper end is very difficult to hold in place. they come off very easily. They are also much longer than standard heads. So unless you are using at least long pipe heads, don't try as they will touch your head. You need clearance from the headers if you don't want them to be melted. They look like they are good quality but for all that…

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • hard to tell

Taylor promotes these 79614 10.4mm Spark Plug Wires which fit GM trucks with 6.0 liter truck engines with LS architecture were developed. This description is absolutely wrong. It's not just Revain, Summit Racing also sorts my 2004 Silverado SS with a 6.0L LQ9 engine (LS architecture) and recommends the same cables. Taylor just got it wrong here. The 45-degree spark plug boot, which incidentally has surprisingly little overlap with the spark plug's ceramic insulator, makes the 45-degree turn too

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Safety

L. Just changed the factory spark plugs and wiring (164,000 miles on it). There were no problems with them, I just finally accepted that they are getting old. Installed NGK Iridium. I noticed that they differ from the factory wires in many ways. First, they are much thicker. I don't have wire supports so no problem. They are about a foot long and connect the plug and coil just above the plug. I've noticed that the factory wires have long straight pins and long pins a few inches long that fit…

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember
