As an Industrial and Scientific user, I had high hopes for this product in Thermal Management. After I put it to the test, I was severely disappointed. Though it did manage to cool down my equipment slightly, it simply wasn't worth the investment. The only pro was its compact size, but the cons far outweigh it: poor efficiency, unreliable cooling capacity, and high noise levels. Save your money and opt for a different product.

Bought to replace a broken card in a wine cooler. The card fitted perfectly and worked for about a week. Was hoping it would last longer. But I think you get what you pay for.

Last month I used 2 of these and they both worked fine. I highly recommend checking which side is hot by touching the 9v battery leads (red lead to positive) before installing. For both elements I used, the hot side was the unmarked side. I believe the industry standard is the marked side to be hot. Maybe they were tagged on the wrong side. So test first. Not a big deal, which can explain the low price.
