I hate it External Components

Product only took about 5 minutes to complete. I connected a powered USB hub with a USB mouse and keyboard to the downstream port, and then connected three Windows PCs to the upstream ports. I was able to successfully switch control of three computers, but recognition problems started soon after. One LED didn't light up, so I removed the product's case, examined the circuitry, and found that there is actually very little solid-state electronics, in fact, the four buttons aren't even of the…

KVM without a monitor

Similar to KVM without a monitor. My monitor supports three inputs so I don't need full KVM. I use this switch to connect between my main computer, server and laptop. They switch easily between Windows 7, Server 2012 and OSX. I don't have to disable anything. They share a gaming mouse and mechanical keyboard via a USB hub connected to this switch. Not just for printers

I've done live presentations with many different speakers. I use two computers to show presentations and switch between them (using the VGA switch) as they queue for the next speaker. My problem was using a single clicker for presentations. If I were to use two clickers there would certainly be confusion as to which would be the 'active' so I didn't want to create that script.
