The shot-filled head reduces post-strike rebound, allowing for better controlled hits to the workpiece. Steel shot flows smoothly without sticking or clumping and won't degrade over time. The thick outer jacket is made from hot cast polyurethane that's highly resistant to chipping, cracking, and tearing. The contoured handle, with its textured surface and flared base, provides a comfortable, nonslip grip for hammering. Soft yet solid striking faces avoid marring surfaces. Made in USA.

This is an excellent hammer

I often use demolition hammers in my work. I told myself I would never buy a Chinese one again after the terrible quality of the one I replaced which literally broke on day one. This one is durable, well designed and you can't go wrong with your purchase.

Suitable for hitting metal

I make and carve clear ice as a hobby and needed a hammer that would apply force to various icy metal tools without breaking metal TU hurts me. Basically I needed a demolition hammer. This hammerless hammer delivers a gentle strike without the dangerous metal-to-metal collisions. Grip is excellent, which is important when your hands are wet. I am very happy with this tool.
