I make and carve clear ice as a hobby and needed a hammer that would apply force to various icy metal tools without breaking metal TU hurts me. Basically I needed a demolition hammer. This hammerless hammer delivers a gentle strike without the dangerous metal-to-metal collisions. Grip is excellent, which is important when your hands are wet. I am very happy with this tool.
