Very functional and sensitive HF meter.

Great little meter with good sensitivity and functionality. Has everything you need in an RF meter, including sample-and-hold average and peak-over. TES-92 is perhaps the best HF meter in this price range. If you want an extended 6 gigabyte response, get the TES-593.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs

Worked great to identify some of the radiation hotspots in the house and helped us reorder them around the sleep load of our family members to minimize. It also helped us improve the overall Wi-Fi signal around the house by eliminating Wi-Fi black spots caused by interference from other devices. I'm not giving it 5 stars just because it could be further simplified to use as it takes a little time to figure out how to use it properly and what to measure.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Not automatic

Every home should have one.

As a household environmental inspector, I use this meter several times a week. It can show you clear bursts of digital smart meters (electricity, water, gas) and help you track wireless sources around your home. I used it to confirm that the wifi was away from my house. I have worked with my ISP to disable wireless functionality. They told me they turned it off three times, but each time my meter told a different story. I ended up buying my own modem (Netgear CM600) and router (TP-Link AC1900)…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
