So far so good. We'll see how it holds up in the Northern California sun. Don't worry that this socket is not GFCI - there is a GFCI socket upstream.

Everything corresponds to the description. Installation is very simple, we used a template to cut a hole in the decking board. (Azek TimberTec composite deck). We installed the feedthroughs and had a licensed electrician install and wire them. I love the functionality and look of these grommets. definitely good quality

The plastic is of good quality and seems able to support the weight of my patio table. I don't think he will survive a strong blow. The design allows you to leave things attached so they never get wet. Includes high quality cable and waterproof case. It comes with a paper template - cut to the exact size of the template for a snug fit.

Was looking for a more stylish outlet for our new patio. Looked like a rival. The design is new and you can be sure that it will work if installed correctly. Like some other reviewers, it's not as "heavy" plastic as I expected or hoped. It seems a bit fragile, but I suspect much of it will disappear once it's attached to the deck surface.

Not very heavy but should be suitable for living quarters. I installed 2 on a covered porch. Important note: The power cord to the outlet must be flexible. I used a 12 gauge power cord which is almost too stiff for the outlet to tip over as shown in the product image. Otherwise a good product at a reasonable price. Would I buy again - probably.

Great product. Supplied with everything needed for installation including short flexible SJOOW cable and cable gland. Also available with front panel for rectangular or round sockets. The fit and finish is great, and the four plastic tabs that hold it in place are solid. I put three of these in a deck and they're perfect for right under the tables. As part of a deck replacement I was looking for a way to add outlets to the deck without installing ugly electrical boxes on the side of the deck. I hired contractors to build the deck and a separate electrician for the electrical work. Each of these vendors have not seen this product but have been impressed by it and will now likely be a part of what they offer their customers.
