Not worth the investment

I purchased a book on Arts and Crafts teaching me how to repair leather-bound books using Thread & Floss .As a result of using this product, I found that it was difficult to work with and the instructions were not clear. The pros were that it did give me some insight about bookbinding, but the cons were that it was not worth the investment. I wouldn`t recommend this book to anyone looking to learn how to repair bookbindings..

Pros
  • Easy and affordable way to repair leather-bound books.
Cons
  • Requires some basic knowledge of bookbinding and may be difficult for beginners without proper guidance or instruction.

Low Tensile Strength

Heavy work to repair the trampoline fabric. Compare this directly to the smaller spools of standard thread that came with the hand sewing system. It was significantly weaker. Unlike the standard material, it tears when we run it through the fabric. One day it suddenly broke, causing me to pierce my thumb with an awl. I know it shouldn't get in the way, but it shouldn't break. I will return to the bearing thread manufacturer.

Pros
  • Sewing
Cons
  • Quick Start Guide
