Must have item Good for luggage racks

Holds cargo in place beautifully and doesn't fly off the trunk while driving. I cover my load with plastic wrap and stretch a net over it.

Pros
  • Fun
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

What about the bad reviews?

If your only complaint is that the hooks are sticking to the net, you probably shouldn't be attempting to attach items to the roof. it's hooks and nets! Yes, he will prevail! Excellent product, can be used once.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Older model

Keeps everything in place

I had 2 large camping bins on my roof rack and didn't want to mess with tie down straps so I bought this one instead. I was very skeptical at first and wasn't sure if it would be able to hold large items securely on the roof rack. After 120 km of driving (mostly on the motorway, but approx. 10 km off-road) everything was fine and remained intact. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Almost never

Good storage net in the 859 Canyon roof basket

We used it with our Thule 859 Canyon roof basket. We pack our stuff in a waterproof pannier in a basket, then slip this pannier net over the bag to keep cargo from hanging around and making noise on the freeway. It's really easy to use and fits nicely in a basket, with room for fairly decent luggage above basket height, maybe a few feet if needed.

Pros
  • Lots of good vibes
Cons
  • Bad vibes

Attention LOAD MIGRATION!

So I could take it to the extreme by driving through Pacheco Pass with strong gust warnings, but make sure you pull the net really tight. When I stopped after a series of strong gusts of wind, to my dismay my load had almost entirely fallen out of the basket and was held precariously, as if in a net sack, just yards from sliding off the back of my Outback. Fasten the grid not only behind the thick side rails, but also under the basket very tightly. Next time I'll probably just use strings. Used

Ratchet straps are the best option

This is a good net but depending on what you're using it for it might not be "great" unless you pack your rack full and tall Network itself is too big. high quality, sure, but pinning it down by stretching to find the hook points wasn't difficult, but a little tedious. I have a low garage height of 6ft 8in so the height of the car plus the roof rails plus the trunk didn't allow me to put the basket high on the roof so I had to stretch it all the way when installing the luggage net cover. under…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Great network! Worth the price? May be.

Why spend $50 on Thule brand nets when Revain has cheaper products? quality and ease of use. I've had this mesh for 2 months now and have already used it on several trips, both hiking and going to the airport. What I like best about this basket net is its compact size and footprint when not in use - it folds completely. small and comes with a reusable mesh drawstring pouch - and how well it stretches and holds up when deployed. I bought this with a Thule 859 Canyon roof rack which I also fitted

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Little repairability
