These kept my feet sand-free

I bought these socks for our recent vacation in the Galapagos. The main reason I bought these were not to wear with fins. I used them that way, but they weren't a big help in that respect. The real value to me was wearing these with my Teva water shoes. These socks combined with the shoe mad wet landings on islands and walking in the surf very comfortable. No sand could get in the sock, so I felt very comfortable even when my feet sank into wet sand. When the day's explorations were over, I took

Pros
  • Machine Wash
Cons
  • In two times using these and the holes began. Almost unusable now. Not happy.

Way better than being barefoot!

I bought these as an addition to my wetsuit. I use primarily for SUP but have also worn them walking trails around the lakes afterward. I've walked across some rocks and a lot of uneven terrain in them and they are still holding up, no holes. However they are very thin and do not provide for much sole protection on dry land.Great fit but a little water does get inside at the ankle when submerged. While in cold water, my feet do not stay as warm as the rest of my body when wearing my 3mm wetsuit

Pros
  • Tilos
Cons
  • Can trap moisture and lead to unpleasant smells

Great value in my review

For the money these are hard to beat even if they don't hold up as long as a pair 4 times the cost. I also liked the choices in design.

Pros
  • Provides an additional layer of warmth, keeping your feet comfortable and protected in all seasons
Cons
  • Not suitable for people with foot allergies or infections

I wear a US 11 men's shoe size and the large fit like a sock. I haven't had a chance to use them yet, as they do not fit under the Aqua Lung Sport Adult Admiral LX Mask/Island Dry Snorkel/Trek Fins/Travel set I purchased to go along with them. I will bring them to the beach with me, to use when I'm wading in the Atlantic, to protect my feet against foreign objects. Once I use them for a while, I'll update this post with comments about how they fared.

Pros
  • NON-SLIP GRIP — Dotted silkscreen sole is abrasion and tear resistant. Plus, it keeps you from slipping or falling. Wear these socks with confidence, even in rugged or slippery environments.
Cons
  • Restricted breathability

Great water socks- wish they were more durable

My hubby has a lot of issues with his feet. In addition to neuropathy, he has a very high arch and instep. These fit perfectly! The beach we are on has lots of small shells and rocks that we would have worried about possibly cutting his feet (which is bad when you cannot feel the cuts). These are protecting his feet from that as well as from getting sunburned. He can easily walk around the beach with no issues. I cannot say much about durability yet as this is only day 2 but so far so good. I…

Pros
  • Can be used with a variety of fins, making it a versatile accessory for any water-based activity
Cons
  • Can get damaged easily by sharp objects

I swim 4-5 times a week for a half-hour or hour using fins. I have one hammer toe which rubbed too much on the fin, I bought this because my 2mM thick booty wasn't enough protection. I was forced into wearing a water proof bandaid on it to keep the skin on the toe. Then I found this 3mM thick booty that protects my toe. It's great, and isn't difficult to put on like a toe bandaid.

Pros
  • Provides excellent protection against sunburn, reducing the risk of sun damage and skin cancer
Cons
  • Can cause irritation around the ankles

Worked great best in my review

Fit perfectly and the large fit my feet (10 1/2) and my son's (11 1/2) just fine. Now my feet are slightly wider than my son's.We wore these for scuba fins in tropical waters of the Florida Keys. Just make sure you don't wear them all day wet or your feet will shrivel up. I would always take them off after a dive and rinse them or they'll start to get rank. Also, no hard bottom so you'll feel everything under your feet (still better than barefoot).

Pros
  • Provides a lightweight and easy-to-use option for water protection
Cons
  • Limited to one color option

Great for use in rocket fins

Great for use in rocket fins. Thick enough to provide cushion, but not so thick that they effect the fit of your fin. They are low cut, so expect a little bit of heel slip while using, but not so much that you need to reset the sock or fin. I wear a size 8 (men's) shoe, bought a size 7 (men's) sock, fits perfect. Took away 1 star just for the inherent heel slip that comes with low cut socks, but they're much easier to put on/ take off compared to higher cut socks

Pros
  • Made of durable 3mm waterproof neoprene material for maximum comfort and protection
Cons
  • Limited color options

Wonderful socks for snorkeling

I have a size 14 to 15 foot so it is almost impossible to find swim fins that fit comfortably. I bought these neoprene socks and they work wonderfully. They are the only companty I could find who makes a neoprene sock in size 2XL, and they actually fit me! It is a little difficult to fit my foot with sock in the fin but once it is in the neoprene cushions my foot very well and allows me to wear the fins all day long. My only complaint is that it makes my feet much warmer than I want them to be…

Pros
  • Ideal for use in rocky areas or other challenging environments
Cons
  • Can shrink or lose shape after washing

Decent quality, good fit

A bit thicker than what I would like, since most of my time in the water are in the tropics, but they do the trick. I wear a size 12 - 13 and the XL fits well.I purchased these to ease the "bite" out of my fins. Also, when walking in or out of the ocean, it protects my feet from sharp objects. I haven't had the misfortune of stepping on a Sea Urchin with these, but I would imagine the sole is thick enough to withstand the needles, but from past experience (gloves), the fabric will not.As with…

Pros
  • Provides excellent insulation against the cold, making it ideal for use in colder waters
Cons
  • Can make it difficult to walk on uneven surfaces

Great for roller derby

Great benefits for roller skating, especially if you want the barefoot "feel" without the smell. First, it grips inside the skate really well, whereas socks can feel a bit slippy. Second, it keeps all of your sweat/moisture in the sock, so your skate doesn't stink. I probably should have gone a little thinner (because these do take up quite a bit of room in the skate), but I adjusted my laces and made it work.

Pros
  • Keeps your feet warm and protected while scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, or engaging in other water activities
Cons
  • May feel too tight or constricting

Wear while paddling to keep feet warm

I wear these while paddleboarding in the fridge mountain waters of colorado. I got sick before I got these because of cold wet feet, wind, and chilly air. Now with these, I don't have to worry about keeping my feet dry and warm, the socks takes care of it all. And they're hardy little guys. I use them on concrete, sand, rocks, lawn, twigs and whatnot. I don't abuse them, but it's nice they can handle themselves and I don't have to worry about them too much. I also like the rubber stickies on…

Pros
  • Provides a more comfortable fit than traditional fins, reducing the risk of fatigue and discomfort
Cons
  • May not provide enough grip when walking or climbing

Best beach shoes ever

I bought these and had them shipped directly to the Hyatt in Clearwater Beach. They are the best beach shoes ever. Very comfortable and lightweight. When you're in the ocean, the sand does not penetrate through the tiny holes and it was easy to walk on the hot sand as well. I have peripheral neuropathy in my feet and need to keep them protected at all times. I had no trouble in the ocean, walking through the hot sand, or walking in the street with these shoes. Thankful they were in my size and…

Pros
  • Highly affordable, making it an excellent investment for anyone who enjoys water activities
Cons
  • Restricted movement when wearing

Good product - my new review

I use these for kayaking, cause they are a lot less than kayaking booties. These are pretty good quality. They are warm. The only reason that I am not giving it 5 stars is because the soles are not very thick, so when walking on rocks its a little uncomfortable, But I think that will be a problem with anything like this. also, They seem to be shorter than in the picture, they go up about as much as a normal ankle sock.

Pros
  • Can be worn with or without socks, providing versatility and flexibility
Cons
  • Can cause overheating in hot weather conditions

Bought for my husband

My husband thinks these might have helped for his new fins not to stay on-both fins slid off of the back of his ankle within minutes and his fins were extremely tight before he went in the water. But it's hard to say since we never got to try the fins without these socks (one fin got away). But the socks are a good quality and we'll use them anyway as water shoes for when we go kayaking because he hates his cheap water shoes from Walmart.

Pros
  • Can be used in a range of water temperatures, providing versatile protection and comfort
Cons
  • Not suitable for children or people with sensitive skin

Bought these for my son for swim team to wear inside his fins. He says they fit good and keep his feet from sliding around while he's swimming. To echo other reviews, these run big. My son is a size 11 shoe and I bought him the mediums (8-9) and they were still a tad big. No big deal since he's wearing it inside a fin but if he was wearing these by themselves it might be an issue.

Pros
  • Provides excellent support for your feet, reducing the risk of injury and discomfort
Cons
  • Can cause discomfort or irritation on the skin after prolonged use

first time user good for me

This is the first time I used fin socks so I don't have anything to compare this pair to. I can say that this particular pair of socks are very comfortable and tend to stay on. I did have to pull the sock up a time or two in the water when I was wearing fins, but that could be due the fins not being completely tight. All in all I feel I got a good value for the price I paid and would give a recommendation to buy these socks.

Pros
  • Provides additional protection against friction, preventing blisters and other foot injuries
Cons
  • May not fit very well with certain types of wetsuits

returned but recommended if you can size appropriately

I returned these b/c they were the wrong fit but am giving them 5 stars as it's not the company fault they were the wrong size. I really wish they had them in my size as they were very well made and comfortable. I am a Womens 8 and after reading the reviews from others ordered the small which was definitely too big. I dont think they would have stayed on in the water. Likely better for a womens 9 to 9.5. Unfortunately the XS was not available.

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other types of socks

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for standing/walking in water

I used these socks for my snorkeling and when I go kayaking or anytime I'm in lake water. These were a great investment. I hate walking in lake water because of all the mush and vegetation and these were perfect since you don't feel all that nastiness when walking in the lake anymore. The main reason I got them was for snorkeling but not sure if they are really needed with the snorkeling gear I got. But they are great for walking in water.

Pros
  • Easy to wash and maintain, ensuring long-lasting use
Cons
  • Not very stylish for everyday use

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice product, not needed in warm waters

These fin socks are primarily designed to keep your feet warm and prevent your fins from sliding off. I'm not entirely sure that one needs them in warmer tropical waters, they would probably work better in water 72 degrees or below since they are quite thick. Fins are generally designed not to slide off anyway, so again in warmer waters they don't provide a lot of benefit. This is a nice product though, these socks provide a non-slip traction after use they dry quickly, like swimsuit material.

Pros
  • Provides excellent insulation against the cold, reducing the risk of hypothermia and other cold-related injuries
Cons
  • May not fit as securely as regular socks
