Exactly what I needed.

I just got this to shrink but it's actually good for a lot of things. Shrink film for packaging. However, drying your hair with a hair dryer can burn you :-)

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Transparency

Works perfectly! for welding and soldering

I used to have a heat gun that I used for artwork and it broke pretty quickly. Works great after 2 months of daily use on high settings, just like day one. I would recommend it

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • High Price

Good cheap tool: soldering and soldering equipment

This device does what I bought it for - dries the clay before removing it from the potter's wheel. Lightweight, with two power levels, perfect for the job. The only warning is that the metal barrel gets very hot and needs some time to cool down, so don't put it on the ground without thinking about the consequences.

Pros
  • Lubricant πŸ”₯
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good unit for a Class A price

is a regular $20 heat gun; nothing special and no unexpected standouts. The product design is good, the switch seems to be of good quality, and the heat dissipation is excellent. has a large flat end for a vertical heat gun rack that many in this price range don't have. If you're looking for something a little higher quality, check out Porter Cable for a few bucks more.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

DO NOT make this mistake. learn from me

I should have looked elsewhere and I knew it. I had a strong feeling it wasn't going to work properly as soon as I saw the box. I turned this thing on and within SECONDS it was smoking like a train. I quickly unplugged it and put it back in the box. It looks cheap, looks cheap, ends up being cheap. Buy something from a big brand. All those cheap heat guns are the same. Instead, buy a name you trust.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Poor instructions

works quickly with shrink wrap

I've had this hair dryer for over a year and a half and I still use it at least once a week. I run a business selling bath and body products on Etsy and shrink all my containers before shipping. I tried the hair dryer and it was a joke. This bad boy gets the job done in no time. I've never had a problem with it. Be careful though as I made the mistake of placing it on a bare wooden table after use and it left a small mark on the wood. It gets very hot at the top. great product

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Only available in white
