Description of 🐊 TOGGLER ALLIGATOR: Reliable Flanged Polypropylene Fasteners for Secure Anchors

Anchor installs into hollow and solid materials such as concrete, brick, stone, and drywall to securely hold a load and has a flanged head for additional stability when installing into hollow material. Corrosion-resistant polypropylene body expands and elongates within a solid substrate to distribute force evenly and opens its jaws to lock position within a hollow substrate when a screw is inserted. Made in USA, and includes #8 x 1-1/4" sheet metal screws. Ultimate tensile strength is 57 lb. in 1/2" drywall and 544 lb. in 3,500 psi concrete with a #8 sheet metal screw. Use one-fourth or less of listed maximum values for safe working loads (as required by local regulations).

Unreliable Anchors, Better Avoid Them

Based on my observations, these anchors are a complete waste of money. The installation process was complicated and cumbersome, and once in place, the anchors failed to hold anything securely. The only positive was that they are made of polypropylene. The major con is that they do not deliver as promised and are not worth the investment. I highly recommend looking for other anchor options to avoid disappointment.

Pros
  • Strong and durable, can support heavy loads
Cons
  • Not suitable for use with brittle materials such as ceramics or glass

Excellent Drywall Anchor - Holds tight

If you have problems with anchors slipping or not holding - these anchors work great. In addition, the quality of every item in every shipment was very high – none of the packages contained a deformed dowel or a screw without a point. These anchors (and I bought AF5, AF6 and AF8) should be kept in the anchor locker. Another note: screw anchors create a giant hole that's a lot harder to patch - drill them down to the size listed for each anchor size and they'll make good little clean rigs.

Pros
  • Use a quarter or less of listed Safe Working Load Limits (per local codes)
Cons
  • Small Parts

Toggler Alligator's AF5

This will be an exceptional review of these above average wall anchors. Although I bought them at a different price point. For that purpose it turns out "These are really GOOD wall anchors. I've used them to protect the chamber area of expensive .22 caliber semi-automatic rimfire pistols so I can shoot at will without damage. If you know what I mean, .22 Snap- On caps in a semi-automatic just don't cut, they're not just junk, they just pop out like they were meant to snap the bolt, just use a…
