🛠️ Tool Aid S&G (91950) Pneumatic Wide Scraper Review

I read other reviews that said using it on a tile caused the stem to snap but I didn't have that problem. However, I've only used this in an 80 square foot bathroom with a $20 low powered cobalt air chisel. It worked great for me, but looking at it I wouldn't use it for heavy use.

Talk about bringing a knife to a gunfight. I was the guy with the gun. I used this to remove 300 square feet of 2x2 ceramic tile. Worked faster and easier than a hammer drill or shovel. As soon as you pull the trigger, they burst. The instrument is still in excellent condition.

Bought two of these units to clean the tiled kitchen floor. Worked great and held up so well I didn't need a second one and the one I used shows no signs of wear on the blade! More than 250 m2 of tiles removed!

Bought to remove kitchen tiles. However, after about half an hour of use, the bar broke at the attachment point of the bit. I didn't come back as it wasn't worth my effort. I have other chisels that are many years old and have never broken. I do not recommend.

Great idea! A 2 inch wide scraper is just what the doctor ordered for separating tiles from layers of grout! And he worked. Within a minute! It then broke about a half inch above the scraper's flare - clearly the much narrower flat piece that came with the air chisel, although I sharpened it every hour or so, clearly didn't break!
