I love this perm! This is my second - I replaced it when the heating element died in the last one. What I like best is that it heats up very quickly - really hot! You don't have to hold the curl for a long time because of the heat. My hair is straight as a board and usually falls out within an hour. But with this perm, as long as it's not too wet, I get nice curls for 3 hours and still have fullness afterwards.

I really like this curling iron. I have very thick hair and I find nothing quite like a titanium flat iron to comb and condition hair all day long for those with thick hair like mine. I've read that a lot of people complain that the on/off button is broken. Honestly, I leave the switch on and just plug and unplug it when I'm done with it. This way you don't have to risk damaging the switch. This iron doesn't crack like purple, and titanium doesn't corrode. Better than any pharmacy. I love it. 1

I bought this iron almost a year ago and I really like it. It heats up quickly and makes a killer curl that lasts a long time. I'm buying a second one because the first one broke during a trip abroad - my fault there's a different tension. :(I have thick hair that is usually difficult to curl, about 4" below my shoulders. I use a curl size of 1.25". I also use Lottabody lotion before curling to set your curls. The photo should give an idea of what the curls look like on my hair.

For half the price you get a better iron with a more thoughtful design (for the real user). Example: no automatic shutdown! WHICH TYPE?!
