Wrong grips. Good for material handling

I have had several of these machines in the trucking industry over the years and they have never let me down. This time they sent not the first handle with a notch, but two middle handles. I contacted them but they didn't bother to reply. It's okay, but I've sold the business and I can't just make a new pen. Come on. For real? Can't even answer?

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Nothing

it works well seems to be built quite well

it works well seems to be built quite well not really much to say about the bottle jack. The only thing that seems different is how loose the connections are on the pump assembly, it's actually pretty tight. seems to be a good product. My only issue is that the handle it comes with is some crazy three piece folding thing that went straight into the bin.

Pros
  • hands free operation
Cons
  • working speed

WILL NOT BE DOWN without much effort.

Original returned. Replacement today. Jack Oil leaked from the box. Jack will NOT fall if he doesn't stand on it. IT'S HARD TO MAKE WHEN WORKING IN THE CRAWL ROOM! I'm a pretty strong person and can put over 100 pounds of pressure on my arms. not enough to shut it down. Difficult to remove from a small area when jacking up as it does not retract. You have to pull and wiggle to get it off a raised surface as it won't pull back without EXTREME FORCE.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Not bad

I love this item: Bottle jack

I love this item. It works great, the price was right and short. I am jacking up a very heavy log on uneven ground and there is often not enough room for the jack and this short jack fits the bill and hasn't missed it so far. It's the perfect tool for what I do and it seems to work well. The position of the handle also makes it very easy to maneuver in and out of tight spaces. I highly recommend it.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Reliability

Working but not properly assembled.

Edited; I used it to level my camper. That being said, when I first used it, the snap ring popped out at the top of the cylinder and the gaskets started lifting. I had to wrestle with it and oil my hands to get the ring to fit properly. This hasn't happened again so I'm assuming there's no problem with the tool itself, it's just that the final assembly wasn't done properly. It was easy to use, all things considered. Did what it had to do, made my job easier.

Jack wasn't working like he should.

The first time I used a jack was to replace the front panel on our Ford 3600 agricultural tractor. My brother helped and once I had lifted the plunger high enough to remove the tire stopped me at pumping handle. The piston immediately began to withdraw. The only way to get the tire off was to keep jacking it up so the piston stayed up long enough to take the tire off. We left the jack in place while we fixed the tire. When we got back we had to do the same thing to keep the jack upright to put…

The jack worked very well and was delivered in excellent condition.

The jack was delivered very carefully by the Revain driver (I watched him carefully place the package). There was an outer box of Revain and a jack inside, with bubble wrap to keep it from rattling. The jack was new and undamaged and the jack inside was in perfect condition with no oil leaks, no missing or damaged parts. And it worked right away - I could use it right away. Appreciating other reviews that indicate damage in transit can occur, so I carefully unpacked it and was pleased with the…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Better than you think but not as good as you want

UPDATE Thorin replaced the jack handle with no problems. It should be noted that hydraulic lifting systems only work as intended. The bottle jack must stand upright. Since it is not a delivered cargo tied to a pallet; Shipping and handling turns the box in all directions. The product is easily damaged by bouncing, throwing, falling off the conveyor belt and falling. Just as I received a broken box with a missing handle, I also received jacks with leaking oil. It is very important to bleed the…
