TORRAS Universal Air Vent Clip: Ultra Strong Grip for Car Phone Mount Holders Review

My first purchase included a suction cup which ended up requiring an adhesive pad. This modified vent clip works best in my car compared to its other version.

I have tried other vent mounts in the past. I use a clip phone mount and every other vent mount I've tried has moved from side to side when trying to place the phone in the clip. I bought a TORRAS wireless charger last year and was happy with it except for the vent clip. It's not as strong as this one. This is a great little vent mount. Unfortunately, it didn't quite match my vent. My vent is too wide vertically. You need to make sure the three "legs" overlap the hole so none of them are resting on the vent itself. Otherwise it will not be stable and the retaining clip will not be retracted enough. I ended up lengthening the "legs" to make it more stable.

Why not just do this with phone mounts!?! I have vertical air vents in my car, and there's nothing stopping my wireless phone charging mount from swinging left to right or just falling all the way off when turning.
