This thread might as well be dental floss. After I put it to the test, it broke multiple times and was impossible to sew with. The one positive thing I can say is that it comes in a large quantity, but that doesn't matter if it's unusable. Save your money and invest in a quality thread for your crafting needs.

These 12 spools of tortoiseshell sewing thread are inexpensive and come in a lovely range of colours, but are very fluffy. You will receive 12 large spools of thread. The thread is 100% polyester, so it won't shrink or stain. The colors are great. My problem is that this thread generates quite a lot of fluff when sewing with the machine. No problems with breakage or anything like that, but I try to avoid fluff. So I leave this thread for hand sewing or a random little machine sewing project.

The thread came very neatly in a nice box and is protected by plastic. I placed a spool of my sulky embroidery floss (beige) next to a spool of tortoiseshell floss (yellow) for size comparison, as most people are familiar with this size of sulky floss. I really like the colors of the tortoise threads and really wanted a tan one as I was auditioned to do some mask extensions. I had a brown print and I knew that tan color was what I needed.
