I bought this for my 9 year old grandson when he rides his quad in the cold (or below freezing in cold winds). I was afraid it would be too thick, but the headpiece isn't as thick as the rest of the ski mask. Without this mask his face would grow cold. Would buy again. Carries without complaint.

Initially I had doubts about this product, because the upper part is only made of a thin elastic material, and the part that covers the face is made of a thick and warm fleece. What I love about this product is that you can use it with a hood as most kids coats have a hood or on a very cold day we can even double it up with another hat we use that doesn't have a face covering . Overall I am very happy with the product as it is very versatile and the child had no complaints about it.

I would give this 6 stars if I could. The product is well made and serves its purpose. It came just before my son's soccer game and worked great.

I bought this item for my 7 year old son. It fit him perfectly and he actually wore it on our winter holidays even though he doesn't usually like hats. I washed and dried it and it's like new. I would recommend!

It is better to buy a quality product from REI and a seller who supports it. I was cheap and lazy when I bought this from Revain. Lesson learned as I am very disappointed in this product and the product listing. The balaclava sent to me is clearly not for children unless your child has a very large head.
