Luckily, Tovatec stepped in and saved the day! This adapter is truly essential for anyone considering a new MacBook in the future. It matches pretty much on top of the Macbook Pro, has a small 1/2mm thick gap and offers functionality without bulk. or clutter and fits neatly into any tote or laptop bag without adding weight, bulkiness or cables. This compact port works well and looks good. The Tovatec Hub isn't machined precisely enough to fit your MacBook Pro perfectly (unlike the image shows millimeters of daylight), but it's pretty close. There is very little flexibility. USB-C connections could be made without worrying about taking it out of the MacBook.
