🌀 TPI F12-TE 12-Inch Diameter Single Phase Industrial Workstation Floor Fan - 120V Review

A high quality fan that actually moves air. Not too loud, but it does get noisy at high speed, which is inevitable with any fan moving a lot of air. This thing is built like a tank, with a thick grille; You can see this is not a cheap device, definitely a quality machine. I hope for years of consistent use of this fan.

My fan arrived this evening in a very well packed box complete with some foam pieces, motor outlines and grille sections. Instructions and a detailed parts list are included in the box, and once the fan is removed it's immediately apparent that this thing was built as a true industrial fan. The grille wire is thicker and stiffer than even my Patton fan grille, making most other fans feel cheap and flimsy. Needless to say, I'm impressed. Looks like a used fan arrived. The Amazon's outer box looked clean, but the inner box looked like new taped and the box was quite worn. There are no instructions. The fan has a large dent on the front. This is a very powerful fan so it has to be hit very hard to bend the metal. The blades and shaft are out of balance and rattle like crazy when the fan is tilted at a certain angle. There are dirt splashes and scratches on the back. I hope it was just some weird confusion. I think this is a very underrated fan. The build quality corresponds to the quality of fans from the 1980s. The motor has oil ports to lubricate the bearings, which I haven't seen on a fan in at least 20 years. The engine is big, powerful and quiet. The blade is balanced. The stand is stable and the guards are reliable. The stand has large rubber feet. The cord is significantly longer than most modern devices and is grounded.
