This was even better than what came with the factory lights. There is a button on the side to switch modes. If the device is turned off and on again, the mode remains the one you had. Not my old man. So I'm glad I got it!

This replacement power supply has a built in on/off switch that is not present on the replacement power supply. You must remove the built-in on/off switch from the power cord of the device. Only basic connection skills are required.

Still, it doesn't fit exactly, the connector works and fits, but the threaded portion is larger than the original so I couldn't twist it together for an airtight seal. I gave it a 5 because my tree is burning again and that was the main reason for the purchase.

Time will tell how long this lasts. I couldn't find an exact match. Overnight shipping and with Amazon's return policy, you can't go wrong.

Micro lights are our favorite option for indoor and outdoor use. In the last two years we have had two breakdowns with the transformer that came with the light. While I wish they would last, no light source seems to last forever, especially when outdoors. Be sure to purchase the exact model of the transformer that is included. There are important differences in the voltages that determine blinking, on/off, color selection, etc. if your lights have this option. I know I made that mistake once…
