I was worried this would be broken like my previous purchase because it was also shipped just in a plastic envelope, but the palette is very sturdy. It has a seal that seals not only the palette from leaking & drying out your paints, but it also seals each well from each other, so they won't randomly mix together. I absolutely love this! It has kept my gouache paints wet for months! Of course, how quickly they dry depends entirely on how often and how long you open it for.I overfilled the wells, not thinking about the suction effect of the seal. Next time I'll fill them about halfway, and then I shouldn't have any overflow problems. I've found I don't need them to be so full, anyway, so filling them halfway doesn't bother me.

I bought two of these the first one was the pink and I liked it so well that I ordered a second one in the white it allows me to keep a nice little selection of paint and I can open it up work right from that it's not too much pain at one time it allows me to bring a lot of colors with me when I go to a friend's home and we do crafting together painting. I like this little palette for gouache paint and I'm sure it's great for acrylic paint too. Portable but holds a lot. Got to remember to store in freezer between painting excursions if more than a few days apart. Paint will develop mold other wise. It is airtight though. Paint stays wet. I spray the paints with a little water before sealing it.

Smaller than expected, but i suppose that makes it preferable for travel. Might be great if you don't use much paint at a time. I haven't tumble tested it yet for leak proof.

My paints have been in this handy little container for several weeks now, and they're still just as fresh as the day I put them in. This is perfect for traveling with.

I ordered two of these for my kit and one of them is perfect but the other came broken and cannot be airtight because of it. Hopefully the seller will be willing to replace it.

I bought this to have a compact way to pack gouache paints for plein air. Luckily I wrapped the case in paper towels and placed in a ziplock bag because when I went to open paint was leaking all over that ziplock bag and paper towels. It's a miss for my intended purpose but does actually do a good job keeping my gouache wet. Airtight does not extend to leakproof and I'm still trying to figure out a way to take this palette on the road.

It’s a bit difficult to open but I don’t care. I put my Paul Ruben opera watercolors in it and made a color reference chart that fits nicely into the mixing area. I absolutely love it. Oh, just realized it opens with ease when the silicone cover isn’t involved.

This little pallet is perfect for loading up with my gouche paints. The containers the paint originally came it were a poor choice. The screw off lids with dried paint were unable to reopen without great difficulty.and I almost threw them out. I saw these air tight portable pallets and loaded them up and it works far better then I imagined.

I had thought this would be bigger. I was surprised at how small this actually was. I can make it work, just wish it was all over larger.

I bought this box to put my guache pigments in So that they wouldn’t dry out between uses and that I could travel with them it works very well with a silicone cover to keep everything sealed

Was intending to use for foundations/concealers. Spent over an hour custom mixing and filling just for it to break the second I closed and opened it for the first time. I bought two and both broke within minutes, although the second one only left a crack and did not completely come apart (either way, not usable)

Here's the thing you need to know- the silicone cover will suck paint up, so only fill the wells halfway. If you are working with gouache this is not a big deal, as it is not enough of the paint to change the color of whatever you are working with. The only thing is that your white may not be pristine. So maybe carry a tube of white in addition to whatever colors you are using in this. Also- add two drops of gum arabic (or glycerin) to each gouache well and mix in. This will keep the gouache…

Excellent alternative to HIMI-style sets that you can fill with your own gouache. Silicone seal is tight enough that this might even be a good option for travel acrylic! Been over a week and my paints haven’t needed to be wetted yet, and the kid makes a great spot for mixing colors. Definitely would recommend

Perfect for taking gouache on the go. Don’t fill it up all the way and it won’t be so messy. It can be a little messy to clean if you do. It’s the best way I have found for taking gouache on the go.
