MAXIMISES PRODUCTIVITY: For fitting new doors into new frames or linings; Designed for all types including rebates and stops up to 25mm thick, covering domestic, commercial applications as a one stop solution. HINGE COMPATIBILITY: Hinges from 67mm to 127mm long with widths from 9.5mm to 35mm can be used with the jig using the same swift and repeatable set up making it very adaptable across a range of applications. APPLICATIONS: Can be used on doors with traditional two-hinge and three-hinge layouts, for internal and external doors as well as heavy fire doors, and doors in high traffic areas where a secondary top hinge is required. SIMPLE AND CONVENIENT: The two-piece jig quickly assembles with just two screws to become a single, rigid jig, with any previous hinge settings retained for further use once stowed away in its carry case at the end of the day.

Works as advertised!

Easy to install and use. This was my first experience of fitting hinges into a door and jamb, it couldn't be simpler. Instead of sewing I used staples and they worked great.

The worst male door hinge clip ever made. Do not buy!

Poor design, unclear instructions, difficult to use. The included router accessory does not fit my Craftsman router, one of the most popular routers of all time. It is easier and cheaper to cut grooves with a wood chisel. Waste of money, wish I bought it, wish I got it back in time.

Incompatible! on power and hand tools

I would really like to return this item. But as busy as I am, I seem to have missed the return policy days. When trying to use it at work I had 5 doors that needed to be hinged at an angle. In the information, nobody said or described that you need to use a specific type of router. I found that my router is not compatible. So now I need to buy another router or find a way to return or sell this one. It looks like it will work great once you get used to it and have a compatible router. I…

3 more minutes on the frame and the doors are done (I did all my frames and mortise locks.

For our new house I made 22 doors and this jig was a lifesaver. Although I'm not a big fan of I haven't noticed a single hole made by installing the bracket since I moved in. Also, it took no more than 3 minutes to cut the door and install the hinges after a short learning curve.Another 3 minutes for the Frame and door were fine (I did everything to your frames and stamped them before assembly and the placement is the way to go I think) Make sure you buy the hinges with the correct corner…

You need it! for mechanical and hand tools

If you're a pro who doesn't have a tool like this then you're not a pro. Two minutes to get him on the hinges. Fifteen minutes to break down two doors and panels. Do not exaggerate. Unless something better comes along, you need this product! The awl that goes with it is crap. Both broke on the first hit and I used a rubber mallet. So just expect them to be replaced.
