Never buy again and do not recommend.

Bad price. You need to buy a special cable for the device! Lead is very thin. Very disappointed! You only get 4 leads per device.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Weight

Just a headache! best in scribers

have not used it so much that it broke instead of a pencil. The part that holds the pen is made of plastic and is broken. Can't find the part so I'm stuck at work without a scribe. I thought I bought quality but that's not what I got. save your money

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • only available in white

just a useless tool

I'm a carpenter and saw this and thought it would be handy. The leash is not easy to pull out if it breaks, the lever has play, and the leash is a special part. I wanted to send it back and just threw it in the bin. As always, I'll use my old utility compass or pulley and a marking knife. All these new writing instruments are bullshit.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good but not great - marking tools

Works well, adjustable bottom metal guide, good writing lead, only disappointment is that the lead is square and soft so wears out quickly and gives a good line . But you need to keep adjusting the lead since the 5" markup and lead are gone. The leash is difficult to adjust as my smallest finger couldn't get behind the leash to move it forward. I had to use a knife or small screwdriver to install them.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

2 stars here's why: First, a metal caliper/gauge/ruler (whatever).

2 stars here's why: First, the metal slide/gauge/ruler (whatever) doesn't have a device lock. I move it with my thumb but don't stop and as the metal slider moves it changes the position of the pencil. To compensate for this, I have to apply pressure between my thumb and fingers. This pressure also moves part of the pencil up or down because the plastic body is too thin (or I have a kung fu grip). I think it's obvious what happens when the pencil moves over you. In my opinion, this trend has…

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No performance

Back to the drawing board

Great concept. If a moving hand had held what was written in the right place, that scribe would have killed everyone. But that's not the case. Pressure on the hand causes it to move from a specific position. And such sloppy writers. Too bad. I like how easy it is to install and the flat stylus is great for precise marking. The device just needs to go back into development and look at this hand. Update: I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 1 because I'm still using this thing. I'm even tempted to…

Garbage, like many other writers.

I have tried so many of these marking tools and almost all have failed. This one is no exception. The reliance on plastic and exposed sliding parts renders such things useless. Why wouldn't someone just make an aluminum scriber with a thumbwheel like this and solid parts? After a day or two, the leadership was no longer proud of the end. What looks like a twisted brass screw is actually a piece of plastic that will actually break if overtightened. So if you try to tighten the leash to keep it…

Pros

Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Great concept; garbage execution; almost useless

I tried three of these before realizing it was a cheap version of what was probably a great prototype. The first one I got had a distinctly bulbous base so the whole thing could wobble up and down if you weren't very careful to hold it on the surface you were drawing. To her credit, the American Trend retailer ended up sending me another one for free. But the adjustment screw on the second only stuck about 1/4 inch after opening, making it unusable. I was still hopeful so I tried to buy again…
