Good power supply for light loads.

I have a 65 watt 2 meter ham radio transceiver and this 12 amp power supply connected to it for easy use. I had the output power set to medium and had some local repeaters and a simplex frequency programmed into the transceiver. I switched the microphone to the simplex frequency so as not to disturb anyone, and the transceiver display went blank. Even with the "Low Power" setting, the display still went black. Heavy Duty Power Supply

This device is built around a very large transformer mounted on a heavy gauge steel chassis. The power is rectified via a half-wave diode bridge using powerful diodes. It has a current limiting circuit and the rectifier transistor has a heatsink. The final chosen by the manufacturer is 2x 2n3771, making this npn setup bulletproof. What impresses me is that everything is connected with a thick wire and not the flimsy connectors that others use. You can't go wrong with this device.

DCV blind control power supply

The remote control circuit boards on these electrically operated blinds failed and had to be converted to a direct connected system. This power supply worked very well for this application with a simple switch setting to control the blinds.
